Use Case 0 is reserved for Status Messages. Every Message Decoder implements Use Case 0. The first message transmitted by any telemetry device, as soon as it is turned ON, is the Status Message.
Below is an example of Status Message, transmitted by OneSense Environment and Agriculture telemetry device. The Message Decoder is this example is Evvos Weather Stations, Use Case 0.
Battery status - Full - indicates whether the internal batteries are Fully Charged,
Use Case - 0 - displays the current Use Case number (0 to 30)
Device Status - ON - device is ON and transmitting messages
Battery Voltage - 4.08V - the actual value of the internal batteries
Target Device - OneSense Environment and Agriculture - inidicates the telemetry device model from which this message has been received
Battery Type - Li-Ion, rechargeable - indicates the type of batteries installed in the telemetry device from which this message has been received
Firmware Version - 4.3 - the current firmware version of the telemetry device
GPS - Enabled - indicates if the device is capable of using Evvos' add-boards with GNSS module to determine its position
Firmware Fuctionality - Use case 25 rev.1 - the Use Case frimware loaded in the telemetry device, along with its revision
Firmware Message Processor - the name of the Message Decoder
Transmission Rate - 15 minutes - how often sensor data messages will be transmitted
Diagnostics - Basic - the type of diagnostics enabled by the installed firmware verion
Diagnostics Transmission Mode - Time - the mode of diagnostic message transmissions - time-based
Diagnostics Transmisson Rate - how often a dignistic message will be transmitted
